Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 4 Free Pick

Game 4 of the NBA Finals best of seven series tips off from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Friday when the Golden State Warriors visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. The current line on top sportsbooks has Golden State favored by 6 points with the over/under point total on 228.5.

Cleveland played very well in Game 3 but still came up short. The Cavaliers trail 3-0 in the series and have their backs against the wall. Cleveland looks to start a historic comeback with a Game 4 win otherwise the season is over and Golden State wins the NBA championship.

LeBron James told reporters after Game 3 that he has never faced a team during his entire career with the firepower that Golden State has. That talent helped Golden State overcome a deficit of six points with an 11-0 run over the final three minutes to win Game 3.

The Warriors are now 15-0 during the postseason and with a win on Friday would become the first NBA team in the history of the league to go undefeated throughout the playoffs. › Continue reading

Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 3 Free Pick

Game 3 of the NBA Finals best of seven series tips off Wednesday night when the Golden State Warriors visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors lead the series 2-0 after winning two straight at home. The current line on top sportsbooks has Golden State favored by 3.5 points with the over/under point total on 226.

Cleveland was not much competition for Golden State in Games 1 and 2 but look to use the advantage of being at home to narrow the Warriors lead to one game. Last season the Cavaliers were down 3-1 in the series and rallied to win the title so they know anything is possible.

Golden State won the first two games of the series by a 20.5-point average but knows the Cavaliers can rally from adversity to win the series thanks to the talent of players such as LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.

Irving knows that the Cavaliers can rally but is aware how important Game 3 is for the team. If Cleveland wins Game 3 the series is 2-1, but a loss would put their back to the wall down 3-0 and the team would have to win 4 straight to win the NBA title. › Continue reading

Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 6 Free Pick

Game 6 of the NBA Finals best of seven series will be played at Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday when the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Golden State Warriors. The current line has Cleveland favored by 2 points with the over/under point total sitting on 207.5.

Cleveland needed record setting performances from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in Game 5 to remain alive and send the series back to Cleveland and both players delivered. The two will attempt to follow up those efforts when Golden State welcomes back Draymond Green following his suspension.

Green was suspended for one game due to a flagrant foul committed during Game 4. The defense for Golden State suffered without their leader. Steve Kerr the head coach for Golden State said his team did not pick up well in transition and allowed Cleveland players to get free and score.

James and Irving became on the first two teammates in the history of the NBA Finals to score 40 points or more in the same game as both scored 41 during Game 5. James praised how Irving had what he called one of the best performances he has ever seen.    › Continue reading

Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 4 Free Pick

Game 4 of the NBA Finals best of seven series will be played on Friday at Quicken Loans Arena when the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Golden State Warriors. The current line has Cleveland favored by 2 points with the over/under total on 206.

Cleveland returned home and was able to change the tone of the Finals with a dominating performance in Game 3 and looks to even the series at 2-2 with a win on Friday at home. The Cavaliers must decide if Kevin Love will return to the starting lineup. He missed Game 3 with a concussion and the defense improved.

Without Love, Cleveland went to a lineup that was smaller with LeBron James at power forward while Richard Jefferson took the spot vacated by James at small forward, which was able to solve certain problems with matchups the Cavaliers had with Golden State’s Draymond Green in Games 1 and 2.

Tyronn Lue the Cleveland head coach said the team needed Love back in the lineup, but would not commit to him starting. Lue did admit that without Love the team needs help in rebounding, as well as Love’s three-point shooting.   › Continue reading

Game 3 of the NBA Finals best of seven series will be played at Quicken Loans Arena when the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Golden State Warriors. The current line has Cleveland favored by 1 point with the over/under point total sitting on 205.5.

Golden State leads the series 2-0 after winning the opening two games on its home court. However, Cleveland has had great success at home this postseason going unbeaten at 7-0 thus far during the playoffs.

Over that 7-0 run at home this postseason, the average margin of victory for the Cavaliers has been 20.9 points. The Cavaliers are holding their opponents at home to just 90.4 points per games with six of the seven games less than 100 points

Despite being routed and humiliated in Game 2 of the series on Sunday, the defense for Cleveland forced 21 Golden State turnovers and had 15 steals.    › Continue reading

Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 6 Free Pick

Game 6 of the NBA Finals best of seven series will be played at Cleveland on Thursday night between the host Cleveland Cavaliers and the visiting Golden State Warriors. The Warriors lead the series 3-2 and can win their first NBA title since 1975 with a win tonight. The current line has Golden State favored by 3.5 points with the point total on 194.

Golden State has won two straight games in the series after falling behind 2-1 including Sunday’s win at home 104-91 in Game 5. LeBron James will do everything in his power to win at home and force a Game 7 on Friday at Golden State. James scored 40 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and handed out 11 assists in the Game 5 loss on Sunday.

Stephen Curry scored 37 points for the Warriors in their Game 5 win on Sunday. He hit 7 of his 13 shots from 3-point territory giving him 18 made 3-pointers in the past 3 games of the series. Curry is now averaging 26 points per game in the series. He is helped offensively by Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala.

Golden State has gone to a smaller lineup using Iguodala in place of Andrew Bogut, which has forced Cleveland to sit Timofey Mozgov. This has turned out beneficial for the Warriors as they like a faster pace game with more scoring. Cleveland’s coach David Blatt was criticized by some for not playing Mozgov more than 9 minutes in Game 5.   › Continue reading

Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 3 Free Pick

Game 3 of the NBA Finals will tip off in Cleveland when the Golden State Warriors visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. The best of seven series is tied at 1-1 after Cleveland won Game 2 in overtime 95-93 to take home court advantage from Golden State. The current line has Golden State favored by 1-point with the point total down to 194.

Stephen Curry looks to rebound from a horrible performance in Game 2 where he shot just 5 for 23. Curry hit just 2 of his 15 shots from 3-point territory in a large part because of the tenacious defense of Matthew Dellavedova. On the other hand, LeBron James led Cleveland to victory with 39 points in Game 2.

Cleveland led by 11 points with just three minutes remaining in regulation and the game went to overtime. To go with his 39 points, LeBron grabbed 16 rebounds and handed out 11 assists. After two games, LeBron is averaging 41.5 points, 12 boards and 8.5 assists per game. The lack of output from other Cavs on offense could hurt Cleveland if LeBron has an off night. J.R. Smith has hit only 8 of his 26 shots and Iman Shumpert only 4 of his 17 over the first two games for a combined 28% shooting.

Klay Thompson picked up some of the slack for Curry by scoring 34 points in Game 2 for the Warriors. Draymond Green continued his subpar play as he has hit just 6 of his 20 shots and averaged 11 points in the first two games of the series.    › Continue reading
