Quality veterans once again left the team via free agency during the offseason which has pressured the draft selections to produce the last two seasons. › Continue reading

Broncos vs Bengals Free Pick

Week 3 of the NFL regular season features a battle between a strong defense and a strong offense when the Denver Broncos visit the Cincinnati Bengals. The current line on most top sportsbooks has Cincinnati favored by 3.5 points with the over/under point total sitting on 41.

Entering this game, Denver on the season is 2-0 straight up as well as against the spread. This is the first road game for the Broncos. Cincinnati on the season is 1-1 SU and ATS. The Bengals will be playing their season opener at home this week.

Denver is one of eight teams in the NFL that are 2-0 to start this week. That number however is down to seven after Houston was beaten on Thursday by New England. Starting quarterback Trevor Siemian has not been spectacular in his first season under center, but the Broncos defense has been.

Denver’s defense is allowing just 293 yards a game and only 4.4 yards per play, which is tied for first in the NFL with Seattle. Bengals vs Jets Free Pick

NFL Week 1 action heads to the Big Apple when the New York Jets host the Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC showdown. The current line on most top sportsbooks has Cincinnati favored on the road by 2.5 points with the over/under point total sitting on 41.5

Both teams have legitimate chances of reaching the postseason, which will make for a good season opener. This will give the Jets that opportunity to see if they can challenge New England for the title in the AFC East.

For Cincinnati, they are returning from another season where they reached the playoffs but their time in the postseason was limited to one game. The Bengals goal is to reach the playoffs once again but to win the AFC title and reach the Super Bowl.

Both teams have top defenses, have quarterbacks that make the big mistake at times and play in divisions where winning as many as 10 games might not even produce a playoff spot as a wildcard. That makes this game big for both even though it opens the season for each.     › Continue reading
