Warriors vs Cavaliers NBA Finals Game 4 Free Pick

June 09, 2017

Game 4 of the NBA Finals best of seven series tips off from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Friday when the Golden State Warriors visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. The current line on top sportsbooks has Golden State favored by 6 points with the over/under point total on 228.5.

Cleveland played very well in Game 3 but still came up short. The Cavaliers trail 3-0 in the series and have their backs against the wall. Cleveland looks to start a historic comeback with a Game 4 win otherwise the season is over and Golden State wins the NBA championship.

LeBron James told reporters after Game 3 that he has never faced a team during his entire career with the firepower that Golden State has. That talent helped Golden State overcome a deficit of six points with an 11-0 run over the final three minutes to win Game 3.

The Warriors are now 15-0 during the postseason and with a win on Friday would become the first NBA team in the history of the league to go undefeated throughout the playoffs.

Kevin Durant came up big during the fourth quarter for Golden State scoring 14 points to end the game with 31. Durant has averaged 34 points per game during the first three games of the series.

Durant is just one of several Golden State players having a strong series. Point guard Stephen Curry is continuing to his strong playoff play with an average of 28.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 9 assists per game during the Finals.

Cleveland was down 3-1 in last year’s NBA Finals yet rallied to win three straight games and the NBA title. However, no NBA team has rallied from a 3-game deficit in the NBA Finals to win the title.

During the Finals, James has carried the Cavaliers with an average of 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists per games. Kyrie Irving has averaged 27 points per game.

Golden State guard Klay Thompson has hit 10 of his 18 shots from 3-point territory the past two games.

Cleveland forward Kevin Love made just 1 of his 9 shots in Game 3.

Golden State is 13-3 against the spread in its past 16 games on the road.

Cleveland is 2-7 ATS in its past 9 games played at home.

With this free pick, we like Cleveland to cover.
