Saints vs Broncos Free Pick

Two of NFL’s best all time quarterbacks will oppose one another tonight when the New Orleans Saints visit Mile High Stadium to take on the Denver Broncos. The Broncos took a risk during the off season by signing veteran Peyton Manning after he had three neck surgeries. His acquisition has already paid dividends for the team and at this point in the season, he is one of two MVP candidates.

Manning has led the Broncos to a 3-3 SU and ATS record and they are currently tied for first place with San Diego in the AFC West. The Saints enter the game with a record of 2-4 SU and they are 3-3 ATS. Drew Brees is the quarterback for the Saints and passed for over 5,000 yards last season, the first player to every pass for that amount in the NFL.

The Saints were 0-4 SU after their first four games, but have now won two straight and are trying to work their way back into the playoff picture. Last weekend New Orleans out scored Tampa Bay to win 35-28. Brees had an excellent outing as he tossed the ball for 377 yards with 4 TD passes. The Saints defense has hurt them all season, until last weekend when the unit ran a fumble recovery back for a touchdown and an interception for the same.

Denver has a record o 4-2 SU over their past six games against New Orleans as well as 2-1 SU over the past three home games against the Saints. On the hand, New Orleans is 2-1 ATS over their past three games that they have played in Denver against the Broncos.

The line currently has the Broncos as the favorite at home by 6. The total for over under is 55. Take the Broncos behind Manning to cover the spread, with the total making winners out of those taking the OVER.
