Cincinnati vs Louisville Free Pick

NCAA football will be played under the lights on Friday night as the Louisville Cardinals host the Cincinnati Bearcats in what should prove to be a great matchup. Louisville is ranked number 16 in the nation and has 7 wins and 0 losses SU and 3 wins and 4 losses ATS. Cincinnati has 5 wins and 1 loss SU and 3 wins and 3 losses ATS.

Cincinnati lost their first game this season last weekend against Toledo 29-23. The Bearcats have played well against Louisville as they have 4 wins and 0 losses against Louisville in their last four games played head to head. Cincinnati also has 4 wins and 2 losses ATS in the past six games they have faced Louisville.

Last week, Louisville was able to pull out a 27-25 win against South Florida. Louisville is known for its tough defenses during the past and this year is no different, but their offense is also much improved. Louisville is scoring an average of more than 32 points a game this season and 400 yards a game.

Teddy Bridgewater the starting quarterback for Louisville has 1,695 yards passing and 11 touchdown passing. He is completing 73% of his passes and only has thrown 3 interceptions. Two running backs for the Cardinals Jeremy Wright and Senorise Perry have together have rushed for more than 1,000 yards with 17 touchdowns.

Louisville has a tough defense and will have to bring everything as they will face the nation’s number 15 rushing offense against Cincinnati. Munchie Legaux, the Bearcat quarterback has rushed for 265 yards this season and has 1,435 yards passing along with 12 touchdown passes and only 5 interceptions. Last week he had two interceptions and completed just 41% of his passes in the team’s loss to Toledo.

The two teams are very well matched against one another. The critical factor in the game will be determined by the offensive line of each team. The team that is able to move the ball on the ground better will have the advantage.

The current line has Louisville favored at home by 3 ½ and the total points 52 ½. I like the Bearcats and the points in this matchup and the total making winners of those taking the under.
