Broncos vs Patriots Free Pick

Sunday’s lineup of games in the NFL has some interesting matchups. One that will have many people watching will be between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. The two teams have two of the best all time quarterbacks and both Peyton Manning on Denver and Tom Brady on New England, will one day be Hall of Fame Inductees. Nevertheless, the only thing on their minds today is the opposing defenses.

Denver has started their season 2-2 SU and ATS after last week destroying the Oakland Raiders 37-6. In that game, Manning accumulated 338 yards in the air, had three passes for touchdowns and completed nearly 79% of this passes.

New England is 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS thus far and last weekend rallied to defeat Buffalo 52-28. The Patriots got behind early in the game, but were helped by six turnovers by the Bills and were able to come back and win. This season Brady has been pressured a great deal by defenses and needs time to throw for him to be effective.

The Patriots have the league’s best offense. New England is averaging over 438 total yards on offense. The Broncos are averaging over 387 yards per game and that ranks them the 12th best team on offense. Defensively, the Broncos hold the edge as they are ranked no. 7 in the league and the Patriots are ranked no. 20.

Denver, in its last 7 games on the road against New England is 5-2 ATS. Over the past 14 games played head to head between the Broncos and Patriots, the OVER has paid out on 9 occasions, the UNDER on 4 and 1 was a push.

New England has been named the favorite with a 6 ½-point spread. The total for the over/under is set at 52. The current line shows that nearly 9 out of every 10 smart money bettors are taking the Broncos and the points. I like Denver to cover and the total to cash out to those betting the OVER.
