Furcal knocked in three runs, while Craig’s double knocked in two.
The Cardinals improved their record to 50-46 for the season and are in third place in their division. Tonight they will give the ball to Kyle Lohse to face the Dodgers. Lohse this season is 10-2 with a 2.71 ERA. He is 4-0 in his last six starts and has not allowed more than two runs in any of those six starts. At home, the right-hander is 3-0 over his last three starts, which includes Friday’s 4-1 defeat of the Chicago Cubs.

During July, Harang has started three games and is 2-0. Last Friday he pitched five innings against the New York Mets and gave up four hits and one earned run, but did not factor in the decision, but the Dodgers won 7-6.
The Cardinals will not have Lance Berkman their veteran first basemen for tonight’s game. Berkman took a pitch off his right knee that was just operated on and he will have to rest it.
The line has St. Louis favored at home -150 to the Dodgers’ +140. The run total is resting on 8.5. The Cardinals will win this game behind the pitching of Lohse. The total will cash out to the UNDER bettor.
