Thunder vs Heat Free Pick June 21 2012

June 21, 2012

The Miami Heat can become NBA champions tonight with a win on their home court against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Miami leads the NBA finals best of seven series 3-1 after defeating the Thunder 104-98 on Tuesday night in Miami. The Heat was paced by the excellent play once again of NBA MVP LeBron James. The small forward led the team with 26 points and 12 assists. He almost had a triple double but only had nine rebounds on the night.

James was forced out of the last two minutes of the game due to leg cramps, but practiced with the team on Wednesday and will be ready to go out and attempt to win his first career NBA title. Helping James offensively was the backcourt duo of Dwayne Wade and Mario Chalmers. Each one scored 25 on the night.

The Thunder received an excellent performance from Russell Westbrook. The guard scored 43 points on the night hitting 20 of 32 of his shots from the floor. Kevin Durant had 28 points, as the two combined for 71 of the teams 98 points. The Thunder need better play from their sixth man James Harden. The bearded-one had only eight points in game four and has scored less than double figures in 3 of the 4 games in the finals.

The fourth game of the series saw Miami cover as the home favorite. The Heat was favored by three and was victorious by six. The total cashed out to those who took the OVER, as oddmakers had set it at 193 and the two teams combined for 202.

The line opened with the Heat as the home favorite by 3 points and has not moved from that figure. The total is sitting at 193 ½. Both clubs are scoring well in this series and tonight’s game should be no exception. Take OKC to cover the spread as the ‘dog on the road. The total will make winners of the OVER crowd.
