Philly Fighting For Playoff Spot

Playoffs are on the minds of many of the teams in the NBA. The stretch run is on and every
game counts. On April 3, the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Miami Heat for an NBA matchup at the American Airlines Arena. The 76ers have recently fallen out of first place in the Atlantic division. They trail the Celtics in the division by one game.

The 76ers have an overall record of 29-23. They have only won four of their last 10 games and have dropped from fourth place in the playoff race in the East to seventh spot. Miami has an overall record of 37-14, good for the third best in the league and trail theChicago Bulls for first place in the East by 3 ½ games. The Heat has won six of their last 10 games but were blown out by the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams are healthy with the only player listed as injured being Mike Miller of the Heat who is out indefinitely with an ankle injury. Miami owns the head to head record against Philadelphia. The Heat is 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS over the last 10 games the two teams have played against one another. The total has been UNDER 6 times and OVER 4 times in those same 10 games.

This season the two have met on three occasions prior to this game. The Miami is 3-0 SU in those three games. Miami is also 3-0 ATS in the three games. The total has been UNDER 2 times and OVER 1 times in the three matchups this season.

The 76ers are fighting for an Atlantic division title and a good spot in the playoffs. If they can win the division they will move up to the fourth spot, otherwise they will be fighting for one of the other four spots and will not have home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Heat will look to bounce back from their whiplash against the Celtics.

Take the Heat less the points in this and look for a low scoring contest to pay out to those who take the UNDER.
