Bulls vs. Knicks Free picks

Bulls ATS

The United Center in Chicago will play host to an NBA matchup between the New York Knicks and theChicago Bulls February 12. The Knicks started their season so, so and then hit went on a torrid streak. Of late however, they are struggling. Their overall record is just 18-22. They are 17-23 ATS and 7-13 ATS on the road. The Bulls are another story completely. They own the league’s best record at 34-9. They are 25-1-1 ATS and 9-9-1 ATS at home.

Reigning league MVP Derrick Rose powers the offense for the Bulls. They average 98 points per game while giving up just 88 per game. The Knicks on the other hand are averaging less than one point more offensively than they are allowing on defense. Both teams have their share of nagging injuries. Tyson Chandler the Knicks leading rebounder is day to day with a hamstring injury. Two other Knicks are also out. Joakim Noah, Luol Deng and Richard Hamilton for the Bulls are all day to day with injuries.

In the last 10 games the two have played head to head, the Bulls are 6-4 SU and 4-6 ATS. In those same 10 games, the total has been UNDER 6 times and OVER 4. The two have only met once thus far in the season and the Bulls won in New York 105-102. The total was over.

The Knicks are 0-4 SU in their last four games including losses to Milwaukee, San Antonio, Boston and Dallas. The Bulls lost to Orlando last week to end an eight game winning streak but quickly recovered to beat Utah Saturday night. They are 4-1 SU in their last five.

The Bulls at home are very difficult to beat and this game should be no exception. Look for the Bulls to play up-tempo and try to put lots of points on the board. They should be able to hold the Knicks to below their scoring average. Bulls look good for a SU and ATS the win, with the total OVER.
