NBA Denver vs. Memphis Free Picks

The Memphis Grizzlies are on a roll. Through Friday, they had won five straight and trail just two teams in the Western Conference playoff hunt. The Grizzlies are 23-15 and will visit the Denver Nuggets who are 23-18 on March 11 at the Pepsi Center. The Grizzlies started out the season suffering from the loss of All Star and leading scoring Zach Randolph. He was lost to an injury and has yet to return, but could return next week. The Nuggets have played well this season and are one of the league’s highest scoring teams.

Grizzlies ATS

Besides Randolph, the Grizzlies also are without Darrell Arthur and Tony Allen, both out injured. TheNuggets have three players on the injury list. All three are listed as day to day and expected to suit up for the game.

In the last 10 games between the two teams, Denver is 6-4 SU and 4-6 ATS. The two teams are known for their scoring and the total has been OVER in 8 of those same 10 games. During those 10 games, the Nuggets have averaged over 112 points per game and the Grizzlies 107.

The two have met twice this season with Memphis winning both. In the first game, Memphis won 100-97 to cover a 1.5 underdog spread. In the second game, Memphis beat Denver 103-102 but did not cover the 4-point favorite spread. The first game was OVER and the second UNDER.

In their last five games, the Grizzlies are 5-0 SU and have played well against all their opponents regardless of the competition The Nuggets are 4-1 SU over their last five games including a Friday night win against lowly New Orleans 110-97.

The Grizzlies have shown they are capable of running with anyone and the game should highlight the scoring ability of both teams. Grizzlies ATS and an OVER bet are where sharp money is being placed.
