NBA Wednesday Spurs vs. Bulls Free Pick

February 29, 2012

Spurs SU and ATS

The San Antonio Spurs host the Chicago Bulls in a matchup of two of the best teams in the NBA. Chicago is leading the Central division with a record of 27-8 and has the leagues MVP in Derrick Rose. San Antonio is currently in first place in the Southwest division, three games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks.

The Bulls finally have the services of Rose back after he missed a number of games with a back injury. Manu Ginobili is out for the Spurs with an oblique injury and will not return until early March.

Rose carries the Bulls with 21.8 points and 7.7 assists per game. The Bulls are currently 5-1 ATS in the last five games they played on the road. Overall, they are 7-3 ATS in their last ten games.

Tony Harper is leading the Spurs in both scoring and assists this season. He averages 19.4 points and 8.1 assists per game. Veteran Tim Duncan has seen his playing time reduced and his scoring diminished but he still leads the team in rebounding with a per game average of 8.6.

The Spurs are 4-0-1 ATS over the last five games played on Wednesday. They are also 4-0 ATS in their last five played in San Antonio. In the last five games, they have played against a team with a winning percentage over .600 the Spurs are 5-0 ATS.

Head to head the total has been UNDER in all 5 of the last five games played in San Antonio. Both teams are playing very good ball and the four day rest for the All Star break should mean the nagging injuries are better and the veterans are more rested.

The game should be tightly contested with the Spurs getting the advantage due to playing on their home court. UNDER is a good choice for the total while the Spurs ATS is a safe bet. Bet Spurs now at WagerWeb
