NBA Free Pick: Miami Heat vs. Orlando Magic

A huge instate rivalry will tip off February 19 at American Airlines Arena in Miami when the Orlando Magic visit the Miami Heat. Orlando has a current record of 19-11 and is in second place in the Southeast division. Miami currently tops that same division with a record of 23-7.

Power forward Dwight Howard leads Orlando in four major statistical categories. He is averaging 20.1 points per game, 15.1 rebounds per game, 1.4 steals per game and 2.1 blocks per game. If he is not the most valuable player on the team, then no one is. Jameer Nelson leads the teams only other important statistical category averaging 5.4 assists per game.

Miami also has one player leading the team in four of five major statistical categories. LeBron James is averaging 28 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. His play makes him the leading contender thus far in the season for the NBA MVP.

There are no injuries of significance for either team. The teams are fairly well matched playing head to head. Orlando is 6-4 SU and 6-4 ATS in the last ten games between the two. The total has been OVER 5 times, UNDER 4 times with 1 PUSH in those same ten games.

Orlando has a record of 3-1 SU in their last four games. That includes a key win over Philadelphia who leads the Atlantic division. Miami is 4-0 SU in their last four games and have an emotional game February 18 against Cleveland in Cleveland. The game will feature James returning to where he played earlier in his career. That may take some energy out of James for the Magic game the following night.

Orlando could dominate in this game against Miami’s weaker post players. Orlando ATS looks good at +9.5. Bet this game now at our recommended Sportsbooks
