Free NCAA Pick Mississippi @ Kentucky

On February 18, the Rebels of Ole Miss will invade Rupp Arena to take on the Wildcats of Kentucky in South Eastern Conference matchup. Mississippi is currently in sixth place in the conference with an overall record of 15-9. They will be looking for important wins leading up to NCAA tournament in order to get a chance to qualify. The Wildcats are 25-1 and lead the SEC and are the number one ranked team in the nation.

The Rebels have five players averaging between 10 and 11.6 points per game. Dundrecous Nelson and Terrance Henry lead that group, as both are averaging 11.6 a game. Murphy Holloway is leading the team in rebounds with 9.2 per game.

The Wildcats also have very balanced scoring as four players are averaging in double figures. Anthony Davis leads that group with a 14 point per game average and leads the team in rebounding with a 9.9 per game average.

Head to head over the last ten games Kentucky is 8-2 SU and 5-5 ATS against Mississippi. The Wildcats are also 12-2 SU over the Rebels in the last 14 games between the two schools.  The matchup between the two teams is normally a defensive struggle. The total has been UNDER 7 times in the last 10 games between the two teams.

Mississippi is playing mediocre ball of late, as they are 2-2 SU in their last four games. All four games have been against SEC opponents. The Wildcats on the other hand are playing almost to perfection. Kentucky is 5-0 SU in their last five games played. All five wins have been against SEC opponents with three of the five wins on the road.

Look for a low scoring contest with the Rebels trying to eat the shot clock down to near zero each time they have possession. Kentucky should win SU but the Rebels of Miss should cover the +21 and the total should be UNDER 133.
